About Challenge Bolivia

Challenge Bolivia started in 2006 on a bumpy 10 hour jeep ride to a small town called Tupiza. Ideas of returning to climb some of the incredible mountains and raise money for local children kept flowing along the dusty journey. The ambitious ideas were well received by a group of friends from Bristol University and Challenge Bolivia was born - 5 Peaks, 5 Days, £10,000 for Charity.

Since then we have come on a long way! We are now a fully established UK charity and have raised over £20,000. We have sent 19 people over to some of the remotest places on earth. We have helped over 650 of some of Bolivia's poorest children, and we have climbed some of the continents highest peaks!

It's hard to believe just how far we've come over the past two years. And our ambitions just keep growing. We have a team lined up to start fundraising for a 2009 trip and they are looking for all the help and support they can get. We hope you find this website interesting and informative if you feel like finding out more please do get in touch.
